Opening Mass of the General Assembly – Catholic Diocese of Katsina

With solemn reverence and joyful hearts, the Catholic Diocese of Katsina commenced its General Assembly with a Spirit-filled Opening Mass held at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, Gidan Fada, Malumfashi.
The Holy Mass was presided over by His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Mamman Musa, alongside Monsignors, Priests, Catechists, and lay faithful drawn from Parishes across the Diocese.
In his homily, His Lordship called on all delegates to be guided by the Holy Spirit as they deliberate on matters critical to the growth and unity of the young Diocese. He emphasized the importance of communion, participation, and mission in strengthening the Church’s pastoral and evangelizing mission in Katsina State.
The atmosphere was marked by spiritual fervor, liturgical beauty, and strong fraternal bonds as the Diocese looks forward to fruitful sessions of the General Assembly.
Let us continue to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit throughout this Assembly.
